Foodvalley is an independent non-profit organisation (founded in 2004) and has an international network of around 500 companies including more than 250 community partners that work along or in the agri-food sector. Foodvalley drives innovation in protein transition, food & health, and circular agrifood. Shaping the future of food through various value-chain collaborations.

With a background in international business and a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, I moved into the food sector to help improve public health through better food. I’ve launched two food concepts in retail and foodservice and now work as Programme Manager Healthier Food at Foodvalley. I bring expertise in nutrition, reformulation and innovation, supported by a strong network of food producers and developers.

As an educated nutritionist with a passion for sustainable diets, I have several years of experience in managing NPD projects within both a corporate as collaborative setting. In the current context, companies play a crucial role in the transition towards healthier and sustainable offerings. In my role as programme manager protein transition I am eager to supporting you with the right insights, tools and contacts to make this a long term success.

As Programme Manager for Circular Agrifood at Foodvalley, I collaborate with a wide range of partners to design and implement initiatives that accelerate upcycling, transforming agrifood side streams into valuable ingredients for human consumption. With 14+ years of experience in sustainability and the agrifood sector, I remain deeply committed to creating a more circular food system. I look forward to contributing and learning from your inspiring ambitions.

With a background in global food business from Aeres UAS and Dalhousie University, I now support food industry innovation as a Project Coordinator at Foodvalley. We aim to build a thriving, sustainable food innovation ecosystem.
I'm currently pursuing a Master’s in Agri-Business Development, strengthening my leadership and strategic skills in the agricultural sector.
German Institute of Food Technology (DIL) is a research institute working in food development, processes and analysis. DIL has a broad network of around 150 other research institutes. In 2009, DIL took on the responsibility of coordinating the EU research network Hightech Europe. Numerous international projects and collaborations were to follow. Bridging science and practice to drive innovation.

I bring extensive experience in designing and guiding
research, development, and innovation projects in the food sector. As the lead of work package 4: ‘Interact & Learn, Redesign & Implement’, I’ll be sharing my insights and supporting the team throughout the process.

I lead the DIL Innovation Hub at the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL) in Germany, where I focus on driving innovation in the AgriFood sector. With a background in innovation management, startup coaching, business modelling, and lecturing, I enjoy working closely with entrepreneurs and teams to turn ideas into impact. Within the “Interact & Learn, Redesign & Implement” work package, I’ll be the main point of contact, supporting you with technology solutions and guidance throughout the project.
Innate Motion is a marketing agency (founded in 2006) that humanises business for growth. Innate Motion is an expert in consumer insights and help business to unlock business opportunities. Their expertise lies in the ability to empathise with people from diverse backgrounds, which enables them to humanise businesses in a way that fosters meaningful growth and positive impact. Over the past 15 years Innate Motion has operated in over 75 countries.

I am a business strategist and psychologist with over 20+ years of experience in humanizing business across the globe. I specialise in decoding consumer behaviour and driving ethical innovation, using empathy, insight, and cultural understanding to help organizations thrive meaningfully.

I humanize business and work as a Partner at Innate Motion, a strategic brand positioning and transformation agency that drives meaningful growth by applying more human logic to business. For over ten years, I’ve led a team of 40 collaborators around the world, mainly serving global clients outside of Belgium. I built my expertise through 15 years in marketing and innovation at major companies like Accenture, Unilever, and The Coca-Cola Company. I’ve also launched several entrepreneurial ventures, most of which failed (but that’s life…).
Open Impact is an impact assessment company and is an expert in setting up impact assessment approaches, measuring impact and research and forecasting long term impact. As a digital company, with expertise in food related impact project, they believe in the value of data. Helping organisations make informed decisions turining impact into a competitive advantage for a more sustainable future.

I am a consultant with a PhD in Economics and Finance, with expertise in impact assessment. With my guidance, you will gain an understanding of the theoretical foundations of impact evaluation and I will support you in data collection to assess the impact of the innovative products to be launched through the program.
1-2-Taste is a company with a Web-based platform that connects around 100 ingredient suppliers and buyers and provides technical services on the use of more then 2.000 ingredients. It supplies mainly SMEs and start-ups, as these the volumes required by these companies are often not compatible with bigger ingredient-suppliers services.

I’m CEO and Co-Founder of 1-2-Taste, a digital marketplace for food ingredients. With nearly 20 years in the flavours and ingredients industry, including roles at IFF and Cargill, I started 1-2-Taste to make sourcing more transparent and efficient. I’m a food engineer by training and have studied
digital strategy at MIT. I look forward to sharing ideas and learning together during the programme.

The Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) is an independent scientific research institute of the Flemish government. Its mission is to generate knowledge that enables the production of sufficient, healthy, and varied food for the global population, while respecting planetary boundaries. ILVO conducts multidisciplinary, groundbreaking, and independent research to improve products, production methods, and policy instruments, contributing to the sustainable development of the agriculture, fisheries, and agri-food sectors.

I am a dedicated researcher specialising in food process and product development, with a strong commitment to advancing sustainable and high-quality food systems. My expertise encompasses food processing technologies, food quality and safety, as well as the development of zero-waste, upcycling biorefineries. I contribute to Work Package 4 on reimaging food production to deliver greater value for both society and the environment.

We help sustainable food brands, retailers and governmental organisations innovate faster and communicate with more impact. We help them develop the right products, for the right consumers, with the right message.
We do this by offering accessible and crystal clear consumer insights from qualitative and quantitative consumer research.

I focus on consumer trends and sustainable food. With over 25 years of experience in market research, I've worked on both the agency and client sides, including at Research International, Pepsi and KLM. I look forward to sharing insights and practical approaches during the programme, drawing from my experience in market research and my rol as a lecturer at Beeckestijn Business School.
